In this section we will outline the requirements and the process of installing the 3D PACT Engineer Station (ES).
In short, this is a Unity Plugin which serves as an interface for Engineer users sign in with their 3D PACT Management System (MS) credentials, configure environment logic and import & export Asset Bundles to 3D PACT MS.
Before You Start
System Requirements
The system requirements for a 3D PACT ES varies depending on the complexity of your application and the size and complexity of the Asset Bundles and Scenes you are working with.
However, some the minimum requirements are:

3rd-Party Software Requirements
3D PACT IS natively supports integration with OpenXR compatible Virtual Reality (VR) headsets.
In order to facilitate Scenario execution in VR, the appropriate software needs to be installed for the VR headset being used.
We recommend following the prescribed procedure from your VR headset manufacture.

Installation
Below is a step-by-step guide to installing 3D PACT ES a few easy steps.
BEFORE STARTING, ENSURE YOU HAVE A STABLE INTERNET CONNECTION
- 1. Download Unity Hub Setup and follow the on-screen setup procedure
- 2. Download Unity Download Assistant (2022.3.11) and follow the on-screen setup procedure
- 3. Open Unity Hub and create a new Unity Project with Unity version 2022.3.11
- 4. Download the latest Engineer Station Package: [3D PACT Engineer Station (ES) Download Centre]
- 5. In the Unity projects top toolbar, click Assets then hover over Import Package and the Custom Package.
- 6. In the file dialog, select the 3D PACT ES Unity Package downloaded in 1.4. A “Import Unity Package“ window will open. Click “Import“ on this window
- 7. Once imported, in the top toolbar, click on Engineer, and then Install Client Files. This will import all peripheral files/plugins that 3D PACT ES requires.
- NOTE: This will take some time to complete.
- 8. During the import, you may receive a warning about the Input System. If so, click Yes.
- 9. When all imports and installs are complete, Unity will restart.
